WAMS set me up and there was little to no additional setup needed except some of creature comfort options that are stored on the old HMI and needed to be configured on the new HMI like door lock automation and window automation. I was about to give up the dongle, but is what I really wanted to work and would be VERY disappointed if I had to just do the cable every time entered the truck. Everything was plug and play as advertised, but unlike the Silverado, the only existing USB port (out of 3 locations) that would accept the new required USB hub was the double USB port for the rear seat passengers. 100% wish I had done this sooner! This kit is about double the price (about $1400 vs $700), but if I knew about this option when I was upgrading, I probably would have paid the higher price for the 10 HD screen that is flush mounted.
